Focused 15 Investing is published by CPM Investing, LLC, which provides investment research and publication to individuals and professional investment managers. We believe index price movement is also heavily influenced by the market's natural resilience cycles, which reflect the aggregate optimism and pessimism of investors at a given point in time. Our proprietary measures of market resilience give us insights into the resilience of a wide range of investments.
Jeffrey Hansen started CPM Investing in 2014. Jeff has over 35 years of investment industry experience and has worked at Russell Investments, Nikko Asset Management, Blue Heron Consulting, and JP Morgan Asset Management. Over the course of his career, he has met and evaluated over 2000 of the top investment individuals and their teams. In his work at Russell Investments, he conducted research on what makes some investment teams provide strong performance and other do not. In his work with Blue Heron and its predecessor helping large investment organizations strengthen their investment programs, he worked with a number of leading organizations whose combined assets over $1 trillion combined. His books, "Surviving Success" and "Leadership is Fluid" are based on this work.
At Nikko, Jeff managed globally diversified mutual funds designed for wealthy individuals in Japan through the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-9. At their peak, the mutual funds had a total of roughly $500 million in assets.
